“Simply SO Quilts and More Inc” was a dream created by Sarah Oakes to honor her grandmother who taught her the joy of quilting. Her sister, Tina Witkowski, and mother, Shirley Oakes, joined in the dream in January of 2022 when the dream was put into motion in their workshop at 311 Woodford Street in Gridley, Illinois. We make unique one-of-a-kind hand-crafted quilts. We also make wall hangings, table runners, place mats, coasters, Afghans, and craft items. Some of our memory quilts contain pictures from the customers. We enjoy making unique items, including painted, embroidered, and theme quilts. We also make inspirational quilts for missionaries and those in need.
